Ole Bent Madsen, Norway - V4

A couple of weeks ago, I made a decision. A decision which resulted in something awesome; the best high – performance pneumatic V4 ever created!

It all began when I sent Alex a mail before Christmas. We talked a bit back and forth about different engine configurations, and I made him aware of my wishes; a V configuration which had to be light, powerful, fast and smooth. Since I like engines with yellow cylinders and also had a number of these cylinders at my disposal, I chose to send Alex the ones required, and after he received them, the building began. And as many others surely have experienced, the communication between me and Alex at LPEpower was great! I received lots of pictures, and Alex uploaded a video of the engine on YouTube for me to watch. I can’t remember last time I’ve been logged on to my e-mail that long, in case I would get a mail containing a question of how I wanted some specs on my engine, teaser – pictures, etc.

In the meantime, I and Alex talked a lot about cars and our ongoing projects. I told him of my current project, a 1987 Buick Grand National, which will be mainly powered by the V4, but is being made to fit most engine configurations. Then I sent pictures of what I got of the car so far, and Alex would give me credit and suggestions. I had a great time, and learned much which I put to good use in my car, which soon will be revealed together with the V4 powering it.

But then, one day, I got an e-mail where Alex told me that the engine was sent in the mail. And after receiving it a few days later, recharging my compressor countless times, sitting there like a kid with a new toy, revving the smoothly – going engine for hours at a time, I can say for sure, that engines from LPEpower are really something for themselves. This engine is a beast! It meets the V8’s specifications and design, and it’s stunningly tight. And when I now look at it, I can’t imagine all the work Alex has put into this. And I find it fascinating and absolutely amazing, that engines such as this, let alone engines build to your own requirements to suit your wishes are available to each and every human being, thanks to Alex and Ivan at LPEpower.
I’m extremely proud of myself making the decision to buy one, and in the process become a member of the LPEpower community!
